The Kauai Maritime Foundation (KMF) is a nonprofit launched in 2022 by the Nawiliwili Yacht Club to connect the next generation with the ocean in meaningful, hands-on ways.

We’re a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3), which means every dollar goes straight into creating opportunities—whether that’s getting young people out on the water, building real sailing skills, or supporting programs that protect and respect our ocean environment.

You don’t have to be a sailor—or a member—to be part of this. If you care about the ocean, the community, and keeping Kauai’s maritime culture alive, there’s a place for you here.

Although we are not a Membership Organization, we do encourage you to become an annual supporter of our cause. As such, you will be a Supporting Member and you will receive certain benefits that go along with obtaining this status, including:

• Early Entry to all Events

• Discounts on Event Entry

• Meet and great with VIP guests

• Recognition in our annual report
